Your Custom Treatment Plan in Southern California

At AMFM Mental Health Treatment, we believe in customizing treatment plans to meet the needs of our clients specifically and strategically. From the first conversation you have with a friendly member of our admissions team, we begin assessing the best way to meet your needs. Our clinical assessment helps us to design a treatment plan that’s comprehensive and useful to you.

While treatment plans vary by individual, location, and mental health conditions, most clients at our women’s location in Lake Forest participate in at least 3 specialized focus therapeutic groups per day. In addition, there are individual therapy sessions, psychiatry appointments, and somatic healing sessions.

Over the course of your stay, you’ll experience narrative therapy groups, music therapy groups, art therapy groups, and even gardening therapy. At this high level of care, our team will adjust your treatment plan as needed to ensure your needs are met throughout your stay.

Residential treatment, also known as inpatient mental health treatment, offers individuals who are struggling with their mental health access to 24/7 clinical support while residing in a structured and safe environment. Clients at a residential treatment center participate in a combination of individual and group therapy and receive the highest level of care from a team of therapists, group facilitators, case managers, and psychiatrists. Less intensive levels of care include partial hospitalization programs (PHP) and intensive outpatient programs (IOP). As compared to inpatient treatment, these are typically only Monday-Friday, part-time.

Our facility in Lake Forest offers a combination of evidence-based therapeutic modalities to best suit the needs of our clients. With varying mental health conditions being treated, our team believes in customizing treatment rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach.

Admissions Process

1. Connect With Admissions

From your first phone call with our admissions team, it’s our priority to ensure that you feel heard, seen, and understood. In your initial contact with a care team member, we will collect your insurance information in order to verify your insurance and to learn more about your needs, benefits, and coverage. This helps both us and you to understand costs and the different offerings of AMFM Mental Health Treatment.

2. Clinical Assessment

After your insurance has been verified, our free clinical assessment will help us to learn more about you or your loved one and what you’re looking to get out of your mental health treatment plan. The more information we can gain about your mental health obstacles and the help you’re seeking, the better we can provide you with support and an informed treatment plan.

3. Prepare for Arrival

Once we’ve evaluated your needs and decided which mental health facility and level of care are the best fit for you, we will prepare you with everything you need to know before your arrival in Lake Forest for your residential stay.

How to Pay for Treatment in Lake Forest

Although coverage for mental health treatment varies by provider, location, level of care, and policy, our qualified team is able and willing to help you understand your insurance benefits. By verifying your insurance in our initial contact call, we can help you answer your questions concerning coverage and costs.

Outside of insurance verification and benefits, learning whether we’re in-network with your plan or not, and offering private pay options, we’re here to work with you to gain full clarity surrounding your treatment costs prior to arrival at a residential facility.
