Customized Treatment Plan at Our Carlsbad Facility

When you or your loved one reaches out to an AMFM Mental Health Treatment admissions line, you’ll be greeted by a friendly member of our admissions team who will walk you through the insurance verification process and a clinical assessment.

The initial clinical assessment will help us gain a better understanding of your mental health needs and what you’re looking for with your mental health treatment experience. Through that process, we can begin to build a personalized treatment plan for your stay in Carlsbad.

Though treatment plans vary by individual, clients at this residential facility location in Southern California have the opportunity to engage in three or more clinical groups per day, with individual therapy sessions twice a week, as well as meetings with a psychiatrist and case manager weekly. At the highest level of care, we aim to ensure you or your loved one’s needs are being met every step of the way.

Residential treatment, also known as inpatient mental health treatment, is the highest level of care available with AMFM Mental Health Treatment. Our residential program in Carlsbad offers 24/7 clinical support to individuals struggling with severe depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, or other complex mental health conditions.

Residential care is designed to offer respite from a client’s usual daily schedule, while incorporating strategic therapeutic methods, structured groups, and consistent programming to help an individual reset and recuperate.

When an individual completes RTC programming, they may be interested in a lower level of care–meaning attending fewer hours of clinical groups while living at home. A step-down to an intensive outpatient program (IOP) or partial hospitalization program (PHP) at another facility may be possible, and can support a seamless transition back to daily living.

At AMFM Mental Health Treatment, we’ve learned over more than a decade that the best way to approach mental health challenges is to personalize a treatment plan, combining evidence-based therapeutic methods and strategies.
