Christina is the Executive Director of A Mission for Michael in San Juan Capistrano, CA, leading Orange County Adult Mental Health services since January 2023. With over 15 years in the field, she excels in policy formulation, crisis de-escalation, and program development. Christina’s career started in 2008 as a residential technician at Catholic Charities group homes. She has since held roles such as Clinical Director, Program Director, Operations Director, Case Manager, and STRTP Administrator. She holds a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology, specializing in Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT) from National University, is a Licensed Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LAADC) from CCAPP, and has a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry and Criminal Justice from the University of Missouri. Christina is skilled in Recovery-Oriented Cognitive Therapy (CT-R), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She focuses on a strength-based approach, emphasizing personalized care, and excels in assessments and crisis response, fostering resilience in couples and families.
