At our female-specific residential treatment center in Laguna Hills, California, we specialize in providing comprehensive support for women navigating a wide range of mental health disorders. Whether you are managing mood disorders, healing from past trauma, or seeking professional help for other mental health concerns, our program is tailored to help women build sustainable coping strategies and lasting emotional well-being.
It’s estimated that more than one in five U.S. adults live with a mental illness.1 Our inpatient program is tailored to the specific needs of women and female-identifying individuals, providing the resources and therapeutic support needed to overcome mental health challenges. AMFM Mental Health Treatment has extensive experience treating a variety of mental health conditions through evidence-based therapies, including but not limited to the following:
Studies have shown that residential programming can “achieve improvements in recovery from depression, anxiety, wellbeing,” and more.2 Recovery can feel isolating; our mental health program in Laguna Hills can provide cohesive treatment plans to help you or your loved one as you move forward.
We specialize in helping people when anxiety seems to be taking over their lives. Because your experience with anxiety is different from anyone else’s, your anxiety treatment plan should be, too.
Choosing AMFM Mental Health Care for depression treatment opens the door to a journey tailored uniquely to you. Our holistic approach goes beyond the usual “diagnose and medicate” medical model.
For women recovering from trauma, treatments such as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) can be transformative. Our care emphasizes creating a safe space where women can process their experiences and rebuild their lives.
AMFM offers a personalized approach to helping those struggling with paranoia, integrating psychotherapy and support to restore trust and peace of mind. We’re experts at providing the necessary support and interventions to treat paranoia, so you can find trust and safety in your world again.
AMFM Mental Health Treatment provides compassionate and comprehensive care for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). We use evidence-based approaches that are known to effectively treat PTSD and offer an assortment of alternative treatment options to enhance your treatment experience during your stay.
Panic attacks are a sign of underlying issues, not a weakness. They mean that your body is trying to tell you something important about your wellbeing. At AMFM Mental Health Treatment, we invite you to dream bigger than just managing your panic attack symptoms- we want you to rebuild a life filled with confidence and freedom. That’s why our panic attack treatment approach goes beyond immediate relief, focusing on long-term strategies and personal empowerment.
As a resident at our Laguna Hills inpatient facility, you will have access to a comprehensive range of mental and behavioral health services tailored to meet the unique needs of women. Our comprehensive approach combines evidence-based therapies, holistic healing practices, and personalized care to address a variety of complex mental health challenges. Through individual counseling, group therapy, and specialized modalities like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), we empower women to develop coping skills, emotional resilience, and the tools necessary for lasting recovery. Our team of compassionate professionals is committed to supporting each woman’s journey toward healing, self-discovery, and long-term mental wellness.
Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a form of therapy that’s focused on restructuring and reprogramming maladaptive and negative thought processes3. Psychologists are trained to help you change your cognitive and emotional processes in order to outgrow coping mechanisms that may no longer be serving you. CBT has been proven to help with increasing mindfulness and emotional well-being for long-term recovery.
DBT, or “talk therapy,” helps process emotions by talking through situations with a qualified individual, in order to move forward with healthier ways of navigating interpersonal relationships, minimizing physical and emotional stress.
EMDR Therapy is a renowned method of reprocessing most often used in trauma therapy. By activating the prefrontal cortex through a series of bilateral stimulation, qualified professionals can lead you through traumatic experiences, helping you to alleviate the distress symptomized by trauma.4
Group therapy sessions can be used to provide structured times to help you understand that you are not alone in your struggles, that your peers are also walking through these challenges, while also providing guidance, suggestions and communications from psychologists with specialized backgrounds.5
Our individual therapy sessions for adults and adolescents provide a safe, one-on-one space to explore personal challenges and develop effective coping strategies, utilizing evidence-based approaches. These tailored sessions focus on addressing root causes of mental health concerns and fostering long-term resilience.
Our inpatient program integrates holistic therapies into our treatment plans to address the mind-body connection, using mindfulness, yoga, meditation, and nutritional guidance. These practices enhance overall well-being and complement evidence-based therapies for comprehensive healing.
A crisis is defined by the National Library of Medicine “as an overwhelming event, which can include divorce, violence, the passing of a loved one, or the discovery of a serious illness.”6 The goal of crisis intervention is to provide safety and reduce any potential harm to an individual undergoing a crisis.
Our long-term mental health facility offers comprehensive, 24/7 residential treatment, where individuals receive round-the-clock care in a supportive environment. This approach is ideal for those seeking intensive, structured care for severe depression, anxiety, and other mental health conditions at a top-rated inpatient treatment facility.
