Brenda Strom

Brenda has over 20 years of experience in the substance use and mental health field. She has served as a supervisor at a long-term mental health and substance abuse program. Brenda’s experience spans various settings, including an inpatient short-term mental health hospital, an intensive outpatient program (IOP), outpatient mental health and substance abuse programs, outpatient addiction medicine, and the Virginia Alcohol Safety Action Program. She has also conducted home visits with families to address issues involving runaway children and truancy. Brenda has worked closely with court systems, the Department of Social Services, and several community services boards throughout Virginia, focusing on mental health and substance abuse-related concerns.
