EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR – VA
Dr. Nicole Erkfitz (she/her) is a licensed clinical social worker who comes to AMFM Healthcare with vast mental health and program development experience. Dr. Erkfitz obtained her Doctorate in social work after discovering her passion for mental health leadership and research. Dr. Erkfitz is an Airforce wife and has provided clinical services across the U.S. and overseas, addressing social issues in South Asia for the Department of State. Dr. Erkfitz believes that AM FM’s key to success will be listening to the community and tailoring services to meet Northern Virginia’s needs. Dr. Erkfitz is a firm believer in bridging the gap between inpatient treatment and community care, so residents feel confident in their ability to continue their recovery and mental health journey once they leave our doors. At AMFM Northern Virginia, residents can expect a safe, comfortable environment where their holistic treatment plans are highly individualized. Dr. Erkfitz takes a hands-on leadership approach in Virginia, leading groups and providing specialized services such as EMDR therapy to qualifying clients.
