Prior to joining AMFM Healthcare, Stephen served as Chief Digital and Marketing Officer at American Addiction Centers (AAC), where he led efforts to help individuals and families navigate the complexities of substance use and co-occurring mental health treatment. Under his leadership, AAC strengthened its digital and outreach strategies, making it easier for those in crisis to find and access care. Before AAC, Stephen was the Chief Digital Officer at Assurant Inc., overseeing the company’s digital strategy across multiple business lines and global markets. His work centered on creating seamless, consumer-focused solutions that bridged gaps between individuals and essential services. Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles at John Lewis Partnership and AXA Insurance, driving impactful marketing strategies and product development. Stephen’s leadership is rooted in a clear mission: to make mental health care more accessible to those in need. At AMFM Healthcare, he champions efforts that simplify the path to treatment, ensuring individuals and families can navigate the complexities of mental health care with ease. His team is dedicated to increasing visibility, expanding reach, and connecting more people to high-quality, compassionate care. Stephen holds a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Theology from Durham University, along with a Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing in the UK.
