Aminah Muhammad is a seasoned LPC clinician with over 15 years of experience working in the mental health field. Aminah is passionate about working with multicultural populations, children, adults and adolescents. Aminah is committed to guiding her clients through the “storm”, and giving them tools to thrive, grow, and heal. Aminah creates a safe space for her clients through empathy, compassion, and overall positive regard for humanity. Aminah’s work focuses on person centered approaches, through the lens of trauma informed. Aminah is well educated in different modalities including CBT, DBT, Family Systems, and Acceptance and Commitment. Aminah is a Virginia native, married and enjoys sports with her four boys.
