Dr. William Dodge

William Dodge has been an Emergency Physician at Providence Medical Center Laguna Beach since August 2010. Dr. Dodge also has recently performed clinical work at UCLA Harbor. In addition to his clinical work, he has completed the Master of Medical Management at the USC where he studied leadership and management skills from this premier program. Dr. Dodge completed a cardiovascular emergencies fellowship at Stanford University where his research centered on echocardiography, and he published in this field. Dr. Dodge is an expert in echocardiography, CT angiography, and Point of Care testing. He completed his residency at San Diego Naval Hospital and maintains contacts within the military. He was also associated with US Naval Medical Center, USUHS, and Scripps Mercy Hospital in an independent capacity. Dr. Dodge completed training as a Navy flight surgeon and has experience with aviation and military medicine. The Marine Corps aviation wing has been his assignment for two years after he completed his training in aviation medicine. Dr. Dodge has been awarded twice with the Navy/ Marine Corps Commendation Medal and Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal. He received his Bachelor of the Arts with a major in Molecular and Cell Biology, a minor in Cell and Developmental Biology from the University of California at Berkeley, and a medical degree from Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences.
