2025 Outcomes Study Report: Adult Residential Treatment

We believe in going beyond traditional mental health care by offering a more personal, deeply compassionate healing experience.

In addition to psychological evaluations, AMFM Mental Health Treatment (A Mission for Michael) prioritizes getting to know each client’s life story and personal history. This insight into their lived experience helps us craft a treatment plan that is as unique as they are, ensuring we address not just their symptoms, but the root causes of their struggles.

We are tenacious in making sure every client feels seen, heard, and cared for, with their well-being serving as our guiding principle.

These insights guide and help us address individual needs with precision and compassion. From depressive disorders, psychosis, and acute thought challenges to substance use, personality disorders, and anxiety, our approach is rooted in a comprehensive understanding of mental health. This ensures that every individual in our care receives personalized, targeted treatment plans designed to foster healing and long-term well-being.

Our clinical team conducts a comprehensivem assessment within 24 hours of admission, establishing an initial diagnosis based on gathered information. This diagnosis is reviewed weekly in advocacy meetings, refining it as we observe and collaborate across medical, operations, and clinical teams.

The Flouring Scale

The Flourishing Scale is an eight-item measure of psychological well-being, assessing how individuals view their lives across areas such as relationships, self-esteem, purpose, and optimism. Scores range from 8-56.

The survey is a quick score of strongly agree (7) to strongly disagree (1) for the following questions:

  • I lead a purposeful and meaningful life.
  • My relationships are supporting and rewarding.
  • I am engaged in my daily activities.
  • I actively contribute to the happiness and well-being of others.
  • I am competent in the activities that are important to me.
  • I am a good person and live a good life.
  • I am optimistic about my future.
  • People respect me.

The score are added together to create a final Flourishing Score. We utilize this tool to check the progress of our patients over the course of their AMFM programs.

Alumni Experience

“When I first came to care and walked through these doors, I would have told you that I was an emotional mess. I felt stuck. I felt broken. Now, what I would say is that I am not my labels. I am not the things that happened to me. I am worthy of this investment in myself. I’m excited for people to see my transformation because I feel different. I hold myself differently now. Coming here is a once in a-lifetime opportunity that can literally change your life.”
