Rey-Phillip Genaldo

Rey-Philip Genaldo, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), currently serves as the Clinical Director for the Orange County region at A Mission for Michael Healthcare. Prior to his role as clinical director, Rey-Philip lived in the several different countries as an English teacher before settling in San Francisco for ten years as a graduate-level English literature and writing professor as well as a mentor in a college program designed to assist students struggling to keep up with school and life expectations. His time as a teacher and mentor helped pave the way for Rey-Philip to realize his true passion: to directly support people struggling with their mental health. Rey-Philip’s clinical expertise is based on the client-centered Existential modality, as well as a truly trauma-focused lens (CCTP), having worked extensively with PTSD in the first responder community. Rey-Philip’s training also includes CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and EMDR.
