I started working for AMFM when it opened its doors at Corsica in January, 2023. At that time, I was the group facilitator for Al Anon, Life Skills and Creative Writing. Over time, I have focused more on creative writing. I have a BA with honors from The College of William & Mary and a JD with honors from the Antonin Scalia Law School at GMU. I have practiced law and have taught psychology at the high school level and reading and writing at the community college level. What drew me to working at AMFM was my own experience of loss when my son died of a drug overdose after struggling with mental health and substance use disorder.
