Dan is a Certified Addictions Treatment Counselor III under The Addiction Counselor Certification Board of California, and he is a registered member of the California Association of Alcohol/Drug Educators. Dan also holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in American Studies from California State University, Fullerton. He has been a Senior Counselor and Case Manager at many prominent treatment centers in Southern California before he came to AMFM in July of 2013.

Dan brings over fifteen years of professional experience in the management of people and major projects. His leadership, interpersonal, and teamwork skills allow him to manage complex patient and family cases, support our staff, and contribute to the high quality of care at AMFM. Dan is a highly qualified counselor who exudes trustworthiness and safety – these unique character traits elicit results when working individually with highly traumatized and often dually diagnosed patients. Dan has completed his education as a Certified Clinical Supervisor at the Family Intervention Center and Training Institute for Addiction Counselors.
