The Magic of Inspiration, the magic it brings, and the hope it restores.
Inspiration is similar to the flicker of a candle, the raging flow of a waterfall, or a gust of wind. It lifts us with its power to overtake our being and then it can disappear as mysteriously and instantaneously as it came. Inspiration definitely a gift, a gift completely beyond our control that at most is up to the whim of Spirits to grace us with its great presence of its deep truths poured out to become expression.
Nobody cannot master inspiration, so we must remain open and welcome it; inviting it to freely come and go. In this way inspiration helps us embrace the gift and be grateful for every kind grace one can receive. For if we take our inspiration for granted, even the slightest, or if our ego forgets and raises its head in question, Inspiration will quietly leave and is sometimes difficult to retrieve. Only the joy of an open heart and the gratitude for its freedom opens the door for it to return again.
Inspiration and The Magic of it All
There is a subtle magic to a day where inspiration is the only goal. Inspiration is the pinnacle pathway to the creative process. The creative process is of the purest expression of the divine, and the only true route is through the soul. When we are inspired at the level of our soul, is when spiritual experiences become possible. We are “lifted” to a higher place that speaks directly through our heart and soul revealing to us our own creative self. Most creative individuals will tell you they each have had sources of inspiration, be it people, places they find sanctuary in, events that that stimulate, or music that soothes, that deeply impact them and inspired them to pursue their own creative abilities. This is a matter of being “tuned into” higher realms where all creativity originates.
How Can Inspiration Be Life Changing?
Inspiration can open up dreams long forgotten, plans never acted upon, goals long abandoned, and a desire to follow your heart in ways beyond your current state of comprehension that you’ve scarcely imagined. The life-changing truth is that it’s impossible to be inspired and feel depressed at the same time, just as it’s impossible to be inspired and feel unmotivated. It’s also impossible to be inspired and not feel a sense of purpose and peace. If every human being could be inspired for a few minutes everyday, just think about how the world would be changed.
